Washington, D.C. – U. S. Rep. James A. Traficant, Jr. (D–OH) announced today that the Warren-Trumbull Community Services Agency has been awarded a $417,805 federal Head Start grant. The grant was awarded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Administration for Children and Families.
"As a longtime supporter of the Head Start program, I am pleased that this grant has been awarded," said Traficant. "I am confident that the talented and dedicated professionals at the Warren-Trumbull Community Services Agency will put this money to good use."
The grant will be used by the agency to continue its year-round, part-day handicapped training and technical assistance Head Start program. The agency's office is located in Warren.
